CNC Machining Supplier for Japanese Buyers

Japanese drawings leave little to interpretation, and we quote them the same way: the tolerance stack is read before the price is written. CHX Metal runs 220 CNC machines in Shenzhen with plus or minus 0.005 mm standard tolerances, 3 to 7 day prototypes, and inspection reports issued with every batch since 2013.

Your drawing is the contract - we treat it that way

Where a JIS drawing marks a tolerance symbol, we machine to that symbol, not to a house standard that happens to be close. If a general tolerance and a local callout conflict, we ask before cutting - a two-hour question is cheaper than a two-week rework.

Inspection documents with every batch

Inspection reports in English with actual measured values, material certificates from the mill, and surface-finish readings where the drawing calls them. For automotive-adjacent programs we provide initial-sample documentation in your format when asked at RFQ stage.

Lead times we actually keep

Prototypes in 3 to 7 days, production in 7 to 15, surface treatment 3 to 7 more. When a schedule is at risk - material delay, holiday shutdown, a process problem - you hear it from us early with a revised date, because a surprise is worse than a delay.

From Shenzhen to your floor

We ship EXW Shenzhen - we are happy to recommend reliable freight forwarders who run daily consolidations to Japan, air or sea. Small batches typically move by courier with same-week delivery; production lots by sea with a packing list that matches the invoice part for part.

Frequently asked questions

Can you quote from a JIS-tolerance drawing?

Yes - symbol-based tolerance callouts are read as-is. If anything on the drawing is ambiguous, we ask at RFQ instead of assuming.

What documentation comes with the shipment?

Inspection report with actual values, mill material certificate, packing list and commercial invoice. Additional formats can be arranged when specified at RFQ.

Is a 1-piece trial order acceptable?

Yes, MOQ is 1 piece with tiered pricing. Most Japanese buyers start with a trial batch of 2 to 5 parts before committing volume.

How do you handle surface treatment outsourcing?

Anodizing, plating and black oxide run through audited partners with a 3 to 7 day cycle, and the treatment certificate ships with the parts.
