Three reference documents we hand to engineers during quoting: a DFM checklist, a tolerance and capability sheet, and a certification register. They are written to be used — print the checklist, paste the tolerance bands into your drawing notes, and put the certificate numbers straight into your supplier file.

Twelve manufacturability checks covering geometry and process fit, tolerance allocation and the drawing package to send with an RFQ.

Do I have to give an email address to read them?
The form is how we know who to follow up with. If you would rather not, email mc@chxmetal.com and ask for the file directly — we will send it the same way.
Are the tolerance figures in the sheet the ones you quote?
Yes. They are the bands we hold in routine production. Anything tighter than the precision band is quoted feature by feature after a drawing review, and we will tell you if a tolerance on your drawing is not repeatable.
Can I use these documents in my supplier qualification file?
Yes — that is what they are for. For a formal qualification package, request the current certificate scans so the validity dates in your file match the certificates themselves.
Do you sign an NDA before I send drawings?
Yes. We sign customer NDAs and can also provide our own mutual NDA. See IP protection and NDA for how drawings are handled.
