What tolerance can CHX Metal achieve? Dimensional tolerance ±0.005mm (IT6–IT7), concentricity ±0.005mm.
Which materials can you machine? Aluminum, stainless steel, carbon/alloy steel, titanium, brass, copper, Inconel and engineering plastics.
What is the minimum order quantity? From 1 piece for prototyping up to millions of parts per month for mass production.
What certifications do you hold? ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001.
Do you provide inspection reports? Yes. Critical parts include CMM reports and material certificates.
What drawing formats do you accept? DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, X_T and PDF drawings. STEP 3D models are preferred for quoting complex parts; 2D drawings with tolerances are needed for inspection planning.

- Q: What drawing formats do you accept?

- Q: How is pricing determined?
- Price is driven by material, geometry complexity, tolerances, finish, and quantity. We quote tooling-free machining directly from your drawing, and return a detailed quotation with DFM notes within 24 hours.
- Q: Can you hold tolerances tighter than ±0.005mm?
- Yes, on specific features and materials - grinding and fine boring can reach ±0.005mm. Tell us which dimension is critical and our engineers will confirm process capability before quoting.
- Q: What quality documents come with shipments?
- Standard shipments include a dimensional inspection report and material certificates (EN 10204 3.1). PPAP, FAIR, and CpK studies are available on request.
- Q: Do you machine castings or only from solid stock?
- Both. We machine customer-supplied and sourced castings (ADC12, A356, HT200), and can recommend die-casting or extrusion partners when volumes justify tooling.
- Q: How do you protect our designs?
- We sign mutual NDAs before receiving drawings, restrict file access by project, and never display customer parts publicly without written approval.
